Having worked with DJ Richie Don before in the past for a few projects, we were glad to be involved with the new Website for 2016/2017.
DJ Richie Don contacted Morris Projects looking to slimline his existing website, ensuring only the needed content existed and jump start the shop. Morris Projects worked on a custom design for the new website and created a new responsive website running on a content management system.
The website itself looks amazing and had a lot of great feedback from all of DJ Richie Don’s fanbase. The website is seen and used by thousands of people, so it had to look great and take his brand a step forward.
The website needed the following updates to bring it forward:
- Better CMS Management. It needed to be easier than it currently was to update specific types of data for the website.
- Better CTA. The click to actions for the website needed to be more prominent and the goals for the website had changed. The new website needed to make more conversions from the users rather than completely content based.
- Content Updates. The content on the old website was very heavy and plentiful. Although this was good it also made the website a bit of a maze. We looked at stripping back content and making sure the information was easier to obtain.
- Prominent Information. The main parts of the website needed to be changed to Events, Podcast, Contact/Bookings and Shop.
- Shop. A custom shop rebuild was required allowing easier management of the products and shop information. Looking at making more conversions in the shop throughout the use of the website.
- Subscribe to Newsletter. Users needed an easy way to subscribe to newsletters for DJ Richie Don information. The subscription needed to be automatic too so that there was no additional work for DJ Richie Don to complete other than creating/sending out email content.
All of the above was completed with the new website and it launched with great success. The website and shop are doing very well at the moment and the management of the website has been streamlined for the future. DJ Richie Don was very happy with the website and we look forward to continuing to work with him in the future.
